How should a Christian feel?
Secure and Joyful!
Being a Christian does not make your life perfect and easy. In some ways, it can make things harder in this life. But in the middle of every situation, a Christian is able to feel confidently secure, and resolutely joyful!
Our security and comfort is based in the fact that God is for us, and if God is for us, who can be against us?!
Our joy is based in the fact that we have life and hope and reasons to celebrate that are more real and more lasting than our present troubles.

Romanos 8
(38) Pues estoy convencido de que ni la muerte ni la vida, ni los ángeles ni los demonios, ni lo presente ni lo por venir, ni los poderes, (39) ni lo alto ni lo profundo, ni cosa alguna en toda la creación, podrá apartarnos del amor que Dios nos ha manifestado en Cristo Jesús nuestro Señor.

Romans 8
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor any thing in all of creation, will be able to separate us from the love that God has shown in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Peter
You love him despite not having seen him; and although you don’t see him now, you believe in him and you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, since you are obtaining the goal of your faith, which is your salvation.

3. Close the English, and listen to the audio again, reading along in Spanish.
4. Close the Spanish, and listen once more. Maybe shut your eyes, and just try to understand as much as you can.
